As a special event planner, jäala thrives on the creativity her clients allow her to bring to a celebration. Known for thinking outside the box and stamping each party with a personal touch, her celebrations are unforgettable, meaningful, and stress-free for the host/hostess. Operating a business for several years that is now planning large events with high-value clients, her brand is pivoting into a highly styled and always spectacular experience. Where would you go if you could travel anywhere? France or Japan
What do you do on a Friday night? Of late, dinner and movie/game night with family
Favorite pastime? Drinking wine on my porch either alone or with friends, family, neighbors... watching/listening to the birds, listening to music and flipping through books and magazines. I also love long bike rides and cooking and creating.
Favorite flavor of ice cream? Butter Brickle, Chocolate Oreo, Coffee Crunch, Chocolate cinnamon...
Who you would have dinner with if you could choose anyone (dead or alive)? Queen Elizabeth, Jason Mamoa or my Grandparents of past
Favorite book of all time? Memoirs of a Geisha
Most coveted possession? Our camper & wooden boat.
Favorite food? Sushi
Who is your inspiration? Martha Stewart, Iris Apfel and France
What you love most about your job? Seeing visions in my head come to life to create lasting and special memories/experiences for my clients.
Jessica Reed
Jessica comes from a 15+ year career in events having done everything from venue management and catering sales to full scope event design alongside some most prestigious event companies. Before moving to Colorado from California in 2012, she dipped her toes in vintage tabletop rentals and hand-painted signs realizing a need for those extra special details. Jessica currently holds strong to her love of quality vintage with her lifestyle shop called Polished Penny Co. where she sources housewares and clothing geared toward the modern eclectic. She has a passion for sustainable living, an eye for style and always has her creative juices flowing."
Where would you go if you could travel anywhere? Anywhere at this point!!! But really, I have always wanted to go to Sardinia.
What do you do on a Friday night? If I am not heading to the mountains or working an event, a typical Friday night consists of a glass of wine or a cup of tea watching reruns of cheers, mash, the office or friends.
Favorite pastime? Falling in love with my now husband.
Who you would have dinner with if you could choose anyone (dead or alive)? Kristen Wiig
Favorite book of all time? Ooof, this is hard because I am a slow reader and finish a book about every few years but I actually really enjoyed Lance Armstrong's books while fighting my own battle with cancer in 2019.
Most coveted possession? My mom's engagement ring that she made into a pendant for me.
Favorite food? Cheese and nut butters.
Who is your inspiration? My late grandmother who you would never believe had a bad day in her life.
What you love most about your job? I love that moment when everything comes together exactly how it looked inside my head.

Mia is originally from Napa, CA but moved to Denver after high school. She says “I wanted more than two seasons and knew there was great opportunity here.” She is now an aspiring event planner at the University of Denver. She is majoring in hospitality management with a concentration in conference and event services and minoring in business information and analytics as well as accounting. She has worked in hospitality since she was 12 years-old helping out her mom with her catering company. She has experience in events from wineries in The Valley and in restaurants from The Crafted Concepts Group here in Denver. She has a strong drive and is excited for what the future holds.
Where would you go if you could travel anywhere? Back to Italy!
What do you do on a Friday night? Have fun game nights with friends but usually working on homework.
Favorite pastime? I love journaling and calligraphy! I also tend to clean when I don’t have other things to-do
Favorite flavor of ice cream? Love Potion from Baskin Robbins.
Favorite book of all time? I could never decide on one book, but I’m currently reading Book Lovers by Emily Henry and loving It!
Most coveted possession? My butterfly necklace that matches my little sisters or my collection of pens. (that’s definitely over 1000)
Favorite food? Charcuterie snacks or Pho.
Who is your inspiration? My dad for his drive, my mom for her kindness, and my sister for everything else
